Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield

I stayed here one night as it was in close proximity for a business meeting. Overall it was excellent. The suite-style room was plenty for one person. The evening manager reception was a nice touch with free drinks each evening. And the breakfast - WOW! Made-to-order omelets in addition to all other traditional continental breakfasts. The hotel manager, I assume, even walked around to greet and speak with guests as I was eating. There are a couple minor observations that did not affect my stay. The shower head felt low (I'm 6' tall and it was at eye-level), so had to squat down a bit but easy enough to accommodate. I also thought the fitness center was too small for the size of the hotel. The weight selection was great, but thought they could have used a couple more treadmills. There could also have been more technology ports, like USB or USB-C, throughout the room, although I was able to manage. These three items did not negatively affect my stay or experience. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

I had a great experience at this Embassy Suites for one night. It was nicely situated in an area close to where I needed to be and relatively not far from O'Hare. The hotel is large with ample and free parking. The staff who checked me in were very nice (including the trainee) who was very friendly and confident. The room itself, although not a boutique hotel, was updated and modern enough to not feel like a generic motel. It was clean and spacious (and 2 rooms as it's an all suite hotel so there was plenty of space.) I loved that the fitness room was open 24/7 so I could get my steps in even if I got back late. I had a little bit at the included breakfast buffet (which was popping at 8 in the morning on a Saturday.) There were plenty of basic options and the coffee was serviceable. I'd definitely stay here again if I was coming back to this part of the greater Chicago area.

Great value hotel! Great for a business traveler, make sure to inquire about the complimentary shuttle to nearby corporate offices! Rooms were nice, a bit warm, but spacious and dated. Very clean rooms, and the service staff was incredibly attentive. The complimentary breakfast (with omelette bar) kicks this up a notch!

First time staying at Embassy suites. We were blown away by the hotel - from the time we walked in till we left, we had a great time. It was the little things & professionalism we saw that elevated our experience. They had a courtyard, which was unique. Rooms were clean & spacious. Fitness room was clean, but small. Pool was warm, but was packed late evening, so we skipped that. We had a toilet issue late night, which seems be a regular occurrence for us. Within 10 min of me informing the front desk, maintenance person showed up & fixed it in no time. Never had such a speedy resolution ever. Evening snacks & drinks were served in the courtyard from 5.30-7pm. Also adults could have one free white wine in the bar. Grille & bar was open till 10pm. Courtyard also had fireplace & sofas. It was really cosy to be there while it was snowing outside. We decided to be in due to snow & low temperature. But we were not bored, courtyard sofas & evening service provided a good time pass. When we ordered food from uber eats, they forgot to put utensils. When I went down & asked for some plastic utensils, they gladly give me their silver utensils & asked me to leave them in the room after use. Morning breakfast was usual American options. But even it had more juice & cereal options. Also, there was live counter for us to order custom made eggs, which was really good. Staff were clearing out tables so fast, there was always tables available for families to sit. Efficiency & attention to detail of management & staff tool the customer experience to next level. Will be back again.

Absolutely outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the service at the bar was top-tier. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Heather, the bartender, truly goes above and beyond. Her professionalism, energy, and genuine care for guests set the tone for the entire experience. She’s attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and makes fantastic recommendations. You can tell she takes pride in what she does — every drink was made with precision and consistency. What really stood out was how she handled a busy bar with ease, keeping things moving while still making every guest feel valued. That level of service is rare and makes all the difference. Five stars all the way. If you’re stopping in, make sure to grab a seat at the bar and see Heather — you won’t be disappointed!

We have four adults with five children under the age of 7. This was the perfect place to hang out and connect for an easy staycation! Connecting rooms, pet friendly, clean, very nice staff, great pool + hot tub, and the made to order omelette station (for free!) was a big hit at breakfast. We will definitely come back.

Yes it’s a bit dated, but I rate my experiences on cleanliness, service and other factors too- and I had no issues here. Location is excellent for Deerfield area businesses. My room was very large with a true suites layout. I had no issue with nighttime noise. The bathroom could use a refresh but worked fine and the water pressure was very strong so it will sure clean you up quickly. Breakfast was typical for continental however the omelet bar is the way to go with better ingredients. Coffee was classic Hilton. I didn’t try the restaurant but it had people in there each time I passed it. Overall, no issues here for me from a stay standpoint, just be aware it’s not “new”.

Great place to lay your head. We had great food at the Grille last night during their very busy drink reception time. My 7 yr old had fun walking around the lobby with an older boy he made friends with. Plenty of room to wonder. Rooms were what is expected for an Embassy Suites. Breakfast! Everything you would want and more!
